English communications

A native English speaker, with dual Dutch / British nationality, I write, translate and edit content for commercial, academic and non-profit clients on issues ranging from health care, to finance and environmental protection.

Copywriting

Do you need an experienced English copywriter? I have extensive experience writing English content - from web pages to newsletters, and from blog and social media posts, to interviews and testimonials. I can communicate your message to your target audience in your organisation's tone of voice and style, optimised for SEO.

Transcreation/Translation

Does your website need to be translated from Dutch to English and adapted for an international audience? Having lived and worked for over 21 years in the Netherlands and Belgium, I translate from Dutch to English and specialise in transcreation, localisation and writing for SEO.

Editing

Has your content been written by a non-native English speaker? Do you need help editing a funding application, report, legal document, brochure or press release? I have the structured approach, eye for detail and English language expertise you are looking for.

Web project management

As a web editor, I have 14 years' experience managing websites and successful online oceans campaigns to end overfishing in Europe, stop shark finning and ban deep-sea bottom trawling. Over the years I have worked with and created content in many custom-built content management systems, as well as Tridion and WordPress.

Senior web editor

 As Brexit turmoil and uncertainty increase, I have started to help reassure British nationals living in the Netherlands regarding their situation, for the Dutch Immigration and Naturalisation Service (IND).

Translation and UX copy

If you bank with ING, you may have noticed that the new My ING and mobile banking app are now available in English - I helped make that happen!

Transcreation

For U-center's new English website, I translated the Dutch web content and adapted it for U-center's international audience, conducting keywords search and optimising the English content for SEO.
